Love and obedience

Love and obedience go hand in hand in all kinds of relationships. Jesus said, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14:15). “He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me” (John 14:21). “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love” (John 15:10). For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome (1 John 5:3). In our relationships with God and people, let us show our love through obedience; and obey in love.
