Redeem the time because the days are evil
April 22nd is celebrated as Earth day in over 192 countries and it marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. Many activities are performed to protect environment, conserve nature, recycle and reuse things. Billy Graham once said “The greatest waste in all of our earth, which cannot be recycled or reclaimed, is our waste of the time that God has given us each day.” How are you redeeming your time for the glory of God?
We have a great God, the creator of the heaven and the earth who said “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away” (Matt 24:35). Just like all the perishable things that we see in this world, our bodies also are not permanent. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36). As wise Christian soldiers, redeem the time because the days are evil (Eph 5:16).
