Are you glorifying God? How can God be glorified through our lives?
1. “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me” (Psalm 50:23). We should praise God not only during positive situations but also in negative situations. Remember Habakkuk and Job who glorified God when situations were against them.
2. “You are the light of the world… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14,16). We should be like mirrors in this world and reflect the light and love of Christ, so that people around us may glorify God.
3. “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples” (John 15:8). We should be good witnesses of our Lord Jesus Christ; and also possess the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22,23)
4. “I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do” (John 17:4). Like Jesus, we also should do the work that we are committed to and entrusted with, and thereby glorify God by serving Him wholeheartedly.
