PRAY AND THANK GOD FOR OTHERS
In Romans 1:8, Paul is thanking God for others (Romans) in relation to their faith, which is spoken of throughout the whole world. Paul sets a great example in praying for others and thanking God for others. Do we remember others when we pray; and do we pray when we remember others? We need to do both. How about being thankful for others? Do we thank God for them? People are jealous and envious when others prosper. People backbite when they see someone with spiritual gifts. Let us be thankful to God for the way God is using them. The apostle Paul is a great example for us to learn to be be thankful to God for others about their faith (read 1 Cor 1:4, Phil 1:3, Col 1:3, 1 Thess 1:2, 2 Thess 1:3). Let us also remember others when we pray and thank God; and also pray and thank God whenever we remember others. This attitude makes us grow healthy and stronger in our faith in Christ Jesus.
