Love Everlasting
March 14th (3/14) is observed as Pi Day. The Greek letter Pi is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant – the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter – which is approximately 3.14. Pi’s infinite nature makes it a challenge to memorize, and to computationally calculate more and more digits. There is a Sunday School song which says – God’s love is like a circle, where no ending can be found. The Bible talks about an infinite (everlasting) nature of the love of God (which is much longer than the value of Pi) that caused Him to come into this world to die for our sins on the Cross. God wants each of us to have the same kind of love towards one another. Colossians 3:14 (notice the numbers ‘3”14’ for the letter Pi) mentions – “Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.” Have a blessed day!!
