Praying in Jesus’ Name

If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:14

While He was with disciples, Christ supplied their needs; now that He was returning to heaven, He gives them the privilege of prayer. He promises to answer the prayer so that the Father may be glorified.The Bible teaches us that we must pray not only in the name of Jesus but also in agreement with God’s will. Now, we have this confidence that we have in Him that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us and answers us. Having a close daily relationship with Christ through prayer and daily reading the Bible will enable you to know God’s will. We are not worthy to approach the holy throne of God on our own, but by praying ” in Jesus’ name” we accept our dependence and helplessness and acknowledge that He is our help.

Lord Jesus, help us to make it a habit and devotion to have daily communion with you to know your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen!!!
